Everything a short link can carry

Grouped by what you are trying to get done. Nothing on this page is a promise — what is still being built has its own page.

Route

One link, the right destination for each visitor

Rules are checked in a fixed order on every click — expiry, then country, then device, then your split test — so you always know why someone landed where they did.

An animation of six visitors opening the same short link, acme.inbo.to/launch. The rules are checked in order: expiry, country, device, then the A/B test. A visitor from Germany goes to the German page even on an iPhone; iPhones elsewhere go to the App Store, Android phones to Google Play; laptops are split between variants A and B; and after the end date everyone goes to the page for latecomers.
  • Geo targeting

Send visitors from a country to their own page: the German store, the Japanese pricing, the local event.

    DE → acme.com/de JP → acme.com/ja
  • Device targeting

Point iPhones at the App Store, Android at Google Play, and everyone else at the website — from the same link.

    ios · android · desktop
  • A/B testing

Split traffic across up to five destinations with your own weights. Visitors stay on the variant they first saw, tests end on a date you pick, and clicks are counted per variant.

up to 5 variants · min 10% each · runs up to 6 weeks
  • Expiring links

Give a link an end date, and choose where late visitors go instead of a dead end. Expiry doubles as a pause switch.

    expires 30 Nov 23:59 → acme.com/missed-it
  • Redirect control

Pick the redirect type that suits the job, and forward query parameters from the short link to the destination when you need them.

Open

Land in the app, not in a browser tab

On a phone, a browser tab is where people are logged out. A link to an app they already use opens in that app, where they are signed in and one tap away from following, buying or playing.

  • YouTube
  • Instagram
  • TikTok
  • Facebook
  • Spotify
  • LinkedIn
  • Amazon
  • X

  • Deezer
  • Pinterest
  • Google Maps
  • Etsy
  • eBay
  • Open in app

Links to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and 16 more apps open in the app on iPhone and Android. If the app is not on the phone, the link opens in the browser as usual.

    youtube.com/watch?v=… → the YouTube app
  • Out of in-app browsers on Android

A link tapped inside Instagram and other apps can leave their built-in browser for the phone’s default one, where people already have their logins and saved passwords.

Instagram → the phone’s own browser

Measure

Click numbers you can put in a report

Most link counters add up everything that ever requested the URL. tinbo tells people, AI agents and crawlers apart: readers are counted, the junk stays out of your totals.

An animation of a link's analytics. Visits arrive one by one and are told apart: people and AI agents such as ChatGPT and Claude drop into Latest clicks, with the rule that handled them, and add to the Clicks, People and AI agents totals and the chart; bots such as Googlebot go to their own tile and are not counted. Then the People and AI agents tiles are selected in turn, and the chart and the countries list show that audience on its own.
  • Analytics

Clicks over time, top links, referrers, countries and regions, devices, browsers and operating systems — for the workspace or for one link.

  • People and AI agents, side by side

Clicks are split into people and AI agents fetching a page on someone’s behalf — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity — and you can look at either on its own. Crawlers are recognised from a maintained list of well-known bots and kept out of both.

people · AI agents — search · monitoring · previews
  • Noise view

WordPress probes, dotfile scans and favicon requests against your short domain are grouped and set aside, so “not found” only means links people actually mistyped.

  • Latest clicks

A running list of the most recent clicks with country, device, referrer and the rule that handled each one.

  • UTM builder and templates

Fill in campaign parameters next to the link and watch the final URL update. Save a set as a template and apply it to the next link in one pick.

Brand

Links that look like yours

Every workspace starts on its own subdomain. Bring a domain when you are ready — existing links keep working.

An animation in four screens. Custom domains: go.acme.com is added with one CNAME record and goes from pending to verified, with HTTPS. New link: go.acme.com is picked, the generated slug is replaced ("spring" is already taken on this domain, "launch" is available) and the social preview is prefilled from the destination. Social preview: the card as X, Facebook and LinkedIn show it. QR code: the link's QR code, ready to copy or download as PNG or SVG.
  • Custom domains

Point one CNAME record at tinbo and the domain verifies itself. Certificates are issued and renewed for you.

    go.brand.com CNAME → tinbo
  • A free subdomain from the first minute

New workspaces get a working short domain immediately. Rename it once to something you like.

    acme.inbo.to/launch
  • Custom slugs

Write your own slug or take a generated one. Availability is checked while you type.

  • Social previews

Set the title, description and image a link shows when shared, and check how it will look on X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Telegram and WhatsApp before you post.

  • QR codes

Every link comes with a QR code, ready to download for print.

Protect

Safe to click, safe to share

Short links hide their destination, which is exactly why people distrust them. tinbo lets you gate the ones that matter, and keeps a record of every change.

An animation in three screens. Edit link: a password is typed into the Password protection section and saved; the dashboard then only shows that it is set, and tinbo stores only an argon2id hash. The visitor: opening the link shows a small page, "This link is password protected"; with the password it goes on to the destination. Audit log: "Updated link go.acme.com/launch — password" lands in the feed with who made it, a deleted tag still reads by name, and the member filter narrows the log to one person.
  • Password protection

Put a link behind a password. Visitors see a small, fast page that asks for it; the password itself is stored only as a hash.

  • Audit log

Every change to links, domains, tags, folders and members is recorded with who did it and what changed, and stays readable after the thing itself is deleted.

Organise

Find the link you made in March

A few hundred links in, structure stops being optional.

  • Tags, folders and the Library

Colour-coded tags across folders, one folder per link; create a tag without leaving the link dialog. The Library keeps tags, folders and UTM templates in one place, each with a count that links straight to the matching links.

  • Search and filters

Combine folder, tag, domain and date filters with free text, and share the filtered view as a URL.

Automate

Your links, from your code or your assistant

Everything you do with links, tags, folders and domains in the dashboard, through a REST API or an AI assistant — with the same rules and limits.

An animation of a chat with an AI assistant that has tinbo connected over MCP. Asked to shorten acme.com/spring-launch?utm_campaign=spring-sale-2026 as go.acme.com/launch, send Germany to acme.com/de and tag it spring-sale, the assistant calls tinbo’s tools list_tags, create_tag and create_link, then answers that the link is live. Asked how many clicks it got in the last 24 hours, it calls get_analytics and answers: 312 clicks, 287 by people and 25 by AI agents.
  • API

A REST API for links, tags, folders and domains, with an OpenAPI reference. Keys belong to one workspace and can be full access or read only.

    POST api.tinbo.co/v1/links
  • MCP server

Add tinbo to Claude, ChatGPT or any assistant that speaks the Model Context Protocol, sign in, pick a workspace — then create, find and change links, tags, folders and domains by asking.

“shorten this and tag it q4-launch”

Team

Built for more than one person

Workspaces keep clients, brands or projects apart. Work in two of them in two tabs.

  • Workspaces and invites

Invite people by email and they land straight in your workspace, ready to work. One person can belong to several workspaces and switch between them.

  • Roles

Owners, admins and members, with the sensitive actions — domains, renames, removing people — reserved for the roles that should have them.

    owner · admin · member

Speed

The redirect is the product

Everything above is worthless if the hop is slow, so the redirect path does as little as possible.

An animation in three screens. Served from several regions: visitors in San Francisco, New York and Berlin click the same link; each region answers from its own memory, and the first click in Europe falls through to the shared cache, after which Europe answers from memory too. Edits apply immediately: the destination is changed from acme.com/spring to acme.com/summer and saved; every region and the shared cache drop their copy, and the next click reads the new destination from the database. Counting never delays the click: the 302 goes back to the visitor first, and only then is the click queued and counted in analytics.
  • Served from several regions

Redirect servers run in multiple regions and answer from memory for links they have seen, with a shared cache behind them.

  • Edits apply immediately

Change a destination and every region drops its cached copy right away. No waiting for a cache to expire.

  • Counting never delays the click

Clicks are recorded in the background after the redirect has already been sent.
