Links that open in the app, not a browser tab
Post a YouTube video or a Spotify track in a story, caption or DM, and a tap opens it in that app, where your audience is already signed in and can follow or save it. On an iPhone inside Instagram it takes one more tap, because Instagram only lets a tap open apps. A plain link stays in Instagram’s browser tab, signed out.
