The short version
- Your links and your data stay yours. We use them only to run the service for you.
- No phishing, malware, scams or spam. We scan destinations and switch off links that break the rules.
- Paid plans are monthly, renew until you cancel, and you can cancel any time.
- Links keep redirecting when you reach a limit and after a downgrade.
- The service comes as it is, and our liability is limited.
A summary to read first. The sections below are what counts.
1Who you are dealing with
tinbo is the website at tinbo.co, the dashboard, and the short links served on inbo.to and on customers' own domains. Together they are “the service”. It is run by Dmytro Utkin, a sole proprietor (private entrepreneur) registered in Ukraine (“tinbo”, “we”, “us”).
These Terms are an agreement between you and us. The Acceptable Use Policy, the Refund Policy and, where it applies, the Data Processing Agreement are part of it. The Privacy Policy explains what we do with personal data.
You agree to these Terms when you create an account or use the service. If you use tinbo for a company or another organisation, you confirm that you may accept these Terms for it, and “you” then means that organisation.
2Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
- Sign up with an email address you can read. Notices about your account go there.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and you should tell us at once if you think somebody else got in.
- Each person may keep one workspace on the Free plan. Opening several accounts to get around this or any other limit is not allowed.
3Workspaces and teams
A workspace holds links, domains, analytics and members. Its owner decides who is in it, what they may do and which plan it is on, and is responsible for what members do there.
If you are invited into somebody else's workspace, what you create there belongs to that workspace, and its owner can remove you from it.
4Your links and content
Everything you put into tinbo stays yours: destinations, link names, tags, folders, domains and the rest. You give us permission to store, process and serve it as far as running the service requires. In practice that means sending visitors where you told us to and showing you what happened.
You are responsible for your content, and for having the right to use the destinations and domains you add. Connect only a domain you control. Its DNS records stay in your hands.
Analytics are our best reading of each request. Location comes from the IP address and is approximate, and telling people from bots is a judgment that is sometimes wrong. Treat the numbers as a good estimate, not as an audited count.
5Acceptable use
A short link hides where it leads, so people have to be able to trust the domain it sits on. The Acceptable Use Policy says what you may not link to and what you may not do with the service.
We scan destinations automatically and look at reported links by hand. We may switch off a link, suspend a workspace or close an account that breaks that policy.
6Your subdomain
Every workspace gets a subdomain such as you.inbo.to. The domain inbo.to is ours. The subdomain is yours to use for as long as the workspace exists, and it can be renamed once.
We may refuse or take back a name that impersonates somebody, infringes a trademark or is likely to mislead visitors.
7Plans, limits and payment
There is a Free plan and there are paid plans. What each one includes and costs is on the Pricing page, and those limits are part of these Terms. A plan belongs to one workspace.
Paying
- Paid plans are billed monthly, in advance, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- Prices exclude tax. Any tax that applies is added at checkout.
- Payments are handled by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ, Estonia), which sells you the subscription as merchant of record, charges your payment method and issues the invoice. Its own terms apply to the payment. We never receive your card details.
- If a renewal payment fails and is not put right, the workspace may be moved to the Free plan.
Trial
Each person can try the Basic or Pro plan for 7 days, once, without a card. Choosing a plan when signing up starts its trial when the email address is confirmed; a trial can also be started from the Billing page. During the trial, up to 25 new links can be created. Nothing is charged when the trial ends. The plan simply stops unless you subscribe.
When a trial ends without a subscription, the workspace moves to the Free plan. Its links keep redirecting, and password protection and expiry keep working, but geo, device and A/B rules set up during the trial stop applying until you subscribe. This is the one exception to the downgrade rules below.
Reaching a limit
Your links keep redirecting, always. Clicks beyond the plan's allowance are not added to analytics, and new links, domains and members wait for the next billing cycle or a bigger plan.
Changing or cancelling
- You can change plan or cancel at any time from the workspace's Billing page.
- After you cancel, the plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Then the workspace moves to the Free plan.
- After a downgrade your existing links keep redirecting, and rules that belong to a higher plan keep working. They can be removed, but not changed, until you upgrade again.
- Money back is covered by the Refund Policy.
Price changes
If we change the price of your plan, we tell you by email at least 30 days before, and the new price applies from your next billing cycle after that.
Custom plans
A plan agreed with us by email, beyond what the Pricing page lists, is covered by these Terms together with what we agreed in writing.
8Availability and changes to the service
Redirects are the part that must not fail, and we run the service with that in mind. Still, we do not promise that it will be available without interruption or free of errors.
The service changes as it grows: features are added, reworked and sometimes removed. The Roadmap describes plans, not commitments. If we remove something a paid plan plainly depends on, or close the service, we tell you by email at least 30 days before.
9Suspension and ending
You can stop using tinbo at any time. Cancel a paid plan from the Billing page. To have a workspace or your whole account deleted, write to support@tinbo.co from the account's email address.
We may suspend or close a workspace or an account straight away if it breaks the Acceptable Use Policy, puts the service or other people at risk, stays unpaid, or if the law requires it. In any other case we give at least 30 days' notice. Where we reasonably can, we say why and give you the chance to fix the problem first.
When a workspace is closed its links stop redirecting. What happens to its data is in the Privacy Policy. The parts of these Terms that are meant to outlive the agreement, such as the limits of liability, continue to apply.
10The service itself
The software, the design and the tinbo name belong to us. For as long as you follow these Terms you may use the service. That right is personal to you or your organisation: you may not copy the service, take it apart or resell it without our agreement in writing.
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely and without owing you anything.
11Other people’s sites and services
The pages your links lead to are not ours, and we are not responsible for them. Neither are your domain registrar or DNS host. The providers we rely on ourselves are listed under Subprocessors.
12Personal data
The Privacy Policy describes the personal data we handle and why. When people follow your links, you decide why that data is collected, and we process it for you. The Data Processing Agreement sets out that relationship and applies automatically.
13No warranties
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. As far as the law allows, we give no warranty, express or implied, including of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability and non-infringement.
14Limits of liability
As far as the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue, data or goodwill;
- our total liability for everything connected with the service is limited to the larger of what you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 100 US dollars.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for harm caused on purpose, or takes away rights a consumer has under the law of the country they live in.
15Claims caused by your use
If somebody brings a claim against us because of your links, your content or your breach of these Terms, you will cover the reasonable costs and damages that result. This does not apply to consumers where the law does not allow it.
16Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. When a change matters to your rights or what you pay, we tell you by email or in the dashboard at least 30 days before it takes effect. Using the service after that date means you accept the new text. If you do not, cancel before it.
17Law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, and disputes go to the competent courts of Ukraine. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you may bring a case there.
Please write to support@tinbo.co first. Most things can be sorted out by email.
18The rest
- These Terms and the documents they name are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
- If one part turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
- If we do not enforce a right at once, we have not given it up.
- You may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it as part of a sale or reorganisation of tinbo, and will tell you if we do.
- Neither side is liable for a failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, including war and hostilities, power or network outages, and failures of hosting providers.
- We send notices to the email address on your account.
